Research interests

I investigated the effect of intradermal injections of cultured allogeneic human fibroblasts into individuals with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB).

I also carried out statistical analysis of the data and my work provides the first evidence in human RDEB patients that intradermal injections of normal human allogeneic fibroblasts can lead to increased deposition of type VII collagen at the DEJ and new anchoring fibril formation, sustained for at least three months.
