585Introduction
I qualified from St. Bartholomew's medical college, London in 1993. I undertook my cardiology research at the British Heart Foundation Cardiac MRI unit in Leeds, where I evaluated Left Ventricular Hypertrophy in patients with Hypertension using the ECG, Echocardiography and Cardiac MRI.
I trained in Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging in Leeds and Nottingham. I undertook further training in Cardiac MRI in St. Thomas' Hospital. I trained in Cardiac CT in the USA.
I am a General Cardiologist and I investigate and manage patients with chest pain, high Blood Pressure, Palpitations & dizziness, faints and Shortness of breath, valvular heart disease and cardiomyopathies.
I specialise in diagnostic cardiac imaging of the heart using Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, Cardiac MR and Cardiac CT.
I am very active in researach as a principle investigator for a few clinical trials and I have published over 60 peer reviewed articles and over 60 conference abstracts.
Areas of interest
I see patients with Chest pain, Palpitations, Shortness of breath, dizziness, faints, High Blood pressure, Valvular heart disease, Heart failure and Cardiomyopathies.
