Dr Karolina Gholam is a Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist based at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK. Dr Gholam spent 18 months as a Paediatric Dermatology Registrar at Great Ormond Street Hospital after moving to the UK from Greece. Since obtaining her Master’s Degree in Clinical Paediatrics and having her thesis on Familial Haemophagocytic Histiocytosis published in the journal Clinical and Experimental Immunology, Karolina has gone on to become one of only two doctors dually accredited in Paediatrics and Dermatology in the United Kingdom.

Regarded as a leader within the field of Paediatric Dermatology, her areas of speciality are Inflammatory Dermatosis (including Eczema and Psoriasis), Birthmarks, Acne and Adolescent Dermatology. She is a member of the British Society for Paediatric Dermatology Training Committee.
